Short 45 min hunt!

Went back home today were I grew up at.Anyway sliped out for about 45mins and done some mding Only thing I found in the short time was a 1907 IH some pieces I don't know and this Button that I'm not sure of either as I don't tend to hunt these type sites.As it looks to me it is a marine button from the civil war era but I could sure stand some help with it not my field on civil war things Yet!

Thanks buddy,after looking some more at them this one is the one it is. Yea maybe so on the colonial finds got me another motor for the boat so I'll beable to get to some places I've been wanting to.Now I just need some time to do it!

That button is so hard to tell w/o the back mark...it sure looks period.
But the ones made during the CW were used in WW1 as well...Good find buddy none the less

So true Pete, in the field I dug today, I would never have guessed I would find anything worthwhile let alone rare. Well done on the button, it's nice to find history .
