Made one dive today. Beautiful day in the water. Very first signal was the Walker, the Washington was right next to it. Same spot two wheats. I thought it would be a great day. Lots more swim buckles some other weird finds. That battery says Radio Battery Eveready, 45 volts?? WOW.

Two mercs a sterling religious medal and 4 brass ones. The pocket watch was a strange find. I do find them every now and then just not common. Two brass rings and 6 wheat's were my other finds. The white gold ring is 18K. Second for the year. Hopefully not the last.

Tomorrow is another day. I intend to be out a long time.

Excellent hunt and congrats on the gold and silver.
The 45 volt battery is called a B battery. They were used in old tube radios and came in 22.5, 45, 67.5, and 90 volts. Lots of areas in the country were slow to get hooked up to a developing power grid. Battery powered flashlights and radios were the way to go.
Congrats on a productive hunt.

Awesome finds Scuba. :headbang: Do you scrap the brass buckles? You sure do dig enough of them.

I am saving them and hopefully having a large fish made out of them using them as scales. I know a metal arts person and I have donated tons of underwater finds for him to weld together to make art. My dream is a large fish. I also save lots of lipstick tubes keys and other odds and ends and hopefully all will help make my dream a reality. I am not artistically inclined at all

And yes, I have hundreds of the critters.

That place was a nude beach with all those swim buckles being lost or at least a lot of uncomfortable predicaments

Those are awesome finds! I see that you have found lots of swim buckles. Pardon my ignorance, but what were those used for?

Very nice hunt... silver coins, silver and gold jewelry... wow. The quarter and half are both '36... now that's a nice little spill.

Congrats!
