Decided to wander about my "wheat field" school yard to see if it's still producing. Well, I got one so I guess the answer is yes. ;)

Anyway, for any who have followed any of these diatripe posts I tend to put up. You would know how I feel that my AT-Pro has a personality of it's own. If you watch your own machines, I'd bet you'd see what I mean. :)

Longer story shortened, I was walking around and it just seemed like a surface/penny day. As you can tell by the overall picture below. I was getting just a little more than bored and frustrated. I HAVE to dig 'em! Can't stop myself. But I was also complaining and muttering curses under my breath. :)

It seems that my machine got tired of me too. The next surface "penny hit" almost got skipped. I dug and when I flipped over the plug I saw this "grill" sinisterly smiling up at me.

GRILL_RING1.jpg
GRILL_RING2.jpg

I gotta admit, it sort of creeped me out but then I swear I heard my machine giggle! :)

Here's the rest:

Eeeeeshh! Still gives me the willies! :(

Thanks for stopping by!

lol I like the lizard too

Thank you! I'll tell Blingie he has another fan.

Ya know, he always likes wearing the bling I find. But for some reason, he won't go near this one. ;)

Man, glue that thing to your detector box somewhere, like a hood ornament or an old hot rod shifter knob!

That's where I saw this style before! Been so long I'd forgotten.

But, no thanks. I don't think it would help my trying to convince people that I'm not a pirate and not in this for the money. ;) LOL

Thanks!

I recall the dentist office rings, shiny silver and gold things, think they were imported from some foreign country. Lots of them were skull like and some had horns even. I have found a few of those type rings at the local school yards, fun stuff !!

Thanks for the responses folks. Each one was a very welcomed sight after a pretty long, hard day. They all made me smile. Thank you, all!

No comments about my machine's way of playing games on me though, eh. ;)

Thanks again!

Not quite sure how this was constructed. It does seem to have a pretty heavy plate or sheeting of something. Non-magnetic, came out of the ground shiny like that, almost chromed.

Interesting.

8 Signs it's time to find another hobby (for a little while)

8. Your social relationships are in jeopardy because of your MDing.

7. Finds that would excite other people are not exciting for you.

6. Finds that would absolutely floor other people elicit a "What? Oh, ok" reaction from you.

5. You have an inanimate MDing mascot, or you tie finds to your MD as "good luck charms." (If you do both, skip #4.)

4. You dream about digging.

3. You gave your MD a nickname and/or talk to it.

2. You believe your MD has some influence over what you find.

1. You hallucinate that your MD specifically finds things as a means to communicate with you, like some haunted object from the SyFy channel, and that those erratic interference beeps are actually your MD laughing at you.

WHADIFIND, you're getting worse than me ;) I'm only on #6 8-)

What relationships? Didn't have any before I started.

7. Finds that would excite other people are not exciting for you.

D.N.A. All my finds are exciting, to me.

6. Finds that would absolutely floor other people elicit a "What? Oh, ok" reaction from you.

There is a risk when one starts to get "jaded".

5. You have an inanimate MDing mascot, or you tie finds to your MD as "good luck charms." (If you do both, skip #4.)

Mascots happen. Ok? Don't believe in "good luck" though. More like blessed.

4. You dream about digging.

That can't count. Been dreaming about finding treasure all my life.

3. You gave your MD a nickname and/or talk to it.

It already has a name, "AT".

2. You believe your MD has some influence over what you find.

You mean??? I could just go out and find stuff listening to that beeping in my head!?!?! ???

If you believe that your machine doesn't have a personality of it's own. I DARE you to cuss it out next time and see what you find. ;)

WHADIFIND, you're getting worse than me ;) I'm only on #6 8-)

I would tend to believe, that, that's a given. ;)

Excused lol ;)

N/A accepted :)

There is a risk when one starts to get "jaded".

Hey, they were your words to me, remember? :P

Mascots happen. Ok? Don't believe in "good luck" though. More like blessed.

Excuses... hehe

That can't count. Been dreaming about finding treasure all my life.

It does not say "dreaming about finding treasure." It says, "You dream about digging." Imaginary finds are NOT stipulated :)

It already has a name, "AT".

There ya go...

You mean??? I could just go out and find stuff listening to that beeping in my head!?!?! ???

Ummm... Sure ;) Refer to #4.

I'm an electronics engineer, which is like a Biblical scientist. Scientific explanation removes all mystique from nature. Therefore, knowing how they work, I cannot believe that my MD contains a shred of AI. I have, however, cussed the ease of which people (myself included) have discarded aluminum garbage all over the place, which isn't the same.

In the end, I made this list in jest. HH to you as well!

No, not excuses. Reasons. :)

That can't count. Been dreaming about finding treasure all my life.

It does not say "dreaming about finding treasure." It says, "You dream about digging." Imaginary finds are NOT stipulated :)

Oh! Then, you're referring to my dream about digging my way to China that I've had since I was a kid!

It already has a name, "AT".

There ya go...

Well, I dunno. The name came with mine. :dontknow:

You mean??? I could just go out and find stuff listening to that beeping in my head!?!?! ???

Ummm... Sure ;) Refer to #4.

There is ONLY one way to believe. Doesn't matter what, either one does or one doesn't. You evidently are perfectly assured in your completely safe, scientifically explained, world. By the by, how does the brain work? :icon_scratch: Since you have it down cold, then, you shouldn't have any problem accepting my dare. Just report on it accurately. LOL

In the end, I made this list in jest.

Ummmm, you made it in jest. ummmm in jest what? ;)

HH! Again!
