Hi there!

I snuck out of work about an hour early today to head back downtown near where Richard & I dug three silvers each yesterday. The sky was kinda clear today, and it stayed light enough to see well until about 5:30 pm ~ I was able to detect for about 2 hours. This is the second day in a row where I dug more silver dimes than clad dimes! Here's what I dug today:

1943-S Washington Quarter
1928-S Mercury Dime
1944-S Mercury Dime
1960-D Roosevelt Dime
1961-D Roosevelt Dime
1943-S War Nickel
1944 Canadian Cent
5 Wheats dating from 1928 to 1956
2 clad quarters
3 clad dimes
11 Memorial cents

I took pic's of the silver coins before and after I cleaned them up. This makes 19 silver coins for the year so far (not including the War Nickel).

Thanks for looking!
Neil

War Nickels where made from 1942-1945 during WWII made of 35% silver. To save on the nickel we needed for the tanks. Recognizable by the mint mark over the building on the back. :read2:

Great job on the silver, Neil. At the rate you're going, and with that SE for the entire year, I bet you go over 150 silvers in 2010.

Snow here is 2-3 feet deep, so it will be a while before I get to do any hunting. I hate winter.

Hey oddcoins. You're doing real good. With all those S and D mint coins, you have a chance to find something really special. HH
