I had little time after work and I went out to my latest permission , my first targets were two clad dimes and a clad washington and two wheats and then got a 12-44 signal on my etrac dug the plug and nothing lost the signal so I continued on . I decided to go back and check the plug again glad I did, it's tiny but silver. 20170710_192102.jpg 20170710_192210.jpg 20170710_192226.jpg 20170710_203940.jpg 20170710_203947.jpg 20170710_204050.jpg

Very cute silver ring. Looks like Indian silver perhaps. Love it.

No mark means that it is likely old. I remember a similar situation where I got a screaming hit, dug the plug and then nothing. I scratched my head for a minute. Then I pulled apart the plug and there was my very first barber quarter. Sometimes when you get the plug up, it turns it on end. A good signal will always have something there! Nice ring

I made contact with the owner and I showed him my finds and he offer buy the crucifix, I told that would give it to him, he stated the his wife is religious and would like to give it to her for her birthday. So I give to to him and in turn he allowed him access to his whole farm, which dates to 1800s
