Short Hunt - Scouting new land...

We spent 1.5 hours on a new field which has a Bronze Age Barrow in it with other field enclosure features.

Found a couple of Neolithic Flints
1 Scrappy Roman coin
and bits...

Learnt a lot but its not a priority field, so on to the next.........

when you say scrappy roman, does that mean unidentifiable or just in bad nick?

Strickly this one is a little better than scrappy as I can ID it however not good enough for the album. So it will go in a roman bowl full of them to hand out to kids etc..
