Love the insitu's. Good eyes spotting those artifacts. Couldn't figure out the item in the third photo, but now suspect you were hunting a cotton field? We don't have them up my way. Good luck, and keep em coming.

Yeah it had a pic of cotton and some left over chicken poo. The 3rd photo you can see the base sticking up rite above the cotton. That point or knife was base up in the dirt. I did bump it with my stick to make sure it was pic worthy though.

Glad you got out Rock...the rain was nice...that knife/point looks cool...from the pictures it seems to have excellent flaking on the edge and a big flat pad on the back...love the in situ photos.

I actually chunked quite a bit. A few was just to broke to tell what the heck they use to be. I put them to the side of the field so I wouldnt bother picking them up again.

I hit it quite hard yesterday. Im going to let it be for a couple of weeks then go back to it after some more rain comes through. Once I get more frames I will do a group pic in a frame to show all of the nice pieces found in that spot. Its been the best Lithic to date for me. Must of been some serious trading going on in that area. That blue type is from TN no doubt cause I have never found any of it any place else. HH everyone, rock

The 4th stone under some more coming - with the notch. Is that a tool? If so do you know what it's called & its purpose? I have one from my site sitting in the mystery bag. It didn't make it into any of my pics you saw, but trust me they are very similar so I'm curious. It's fine if your not sure.
