short hunt today

Hey Everyone,
I finally got back out and dusted off my tesoro for a bit today
me & dad went to Fire Creek again for about 3 hours....
found a 10 cent piece of scrip, a wheatie, silver plated spoon (awesome condition), mine I.D. tag, costume jewelry ring, a couple old bottles, a blue mason jar & the usual junk

I'll try to get the pics up tomorrow after the cleaning is done

nothing wrong with those finds.....sounds like yall had a great time together. i wish my dad was still around for me to spend time with. make sure to cherish those moments and never take them for granted. every minute spent with parents is precious.

well, no pics today....sorry the camera is out of commission for now

the spoon says "Camelia Silver Plate", looked it up & found Camelia International circa 1940 silverware
found a Marinello makeup compact lid, no idea of date
no idea on wheatie date
the bottle says "Raleigh's" on it & on bottom says "Beckley, W. Va." no idea of contents (i.e. beer, soda, etc.) but some local history maybe

try to get the camera workin soon
