Short hunt tonight bullets and bottles

Got back out tonight for a little while. Place has a 1920's bottle dump so dug it a while and got a nice coffin style flask some corkers and probably a period harmonica and then broke out the metal detector. Found the two dropped round balls in the same hole (buck and ball?). Fired and splattered enfield and a fired 3 ringer. Also dug one canister shot and a small knapp sack rivet with the leather still in the middle.

I have probably dug close to a 100 bullets and shot off this battle but that rivet is the first relic not related to the barrel of a gun . Crazy. I would find more if I could hunt the Union side.

Actually Bosnmate the canister came from the Confederate Bates.

Coilygirl I need bottle brushes bad. I have tupperware full of bottles that look just like these

Quindy yes lots of fired and drops. The knapsack rivet on this site gives me hope to find more than just projectiles. I have been skipping iron and plan to concentrate on that.
