Got to the beach with my ETrac for the first time...
Only had 1 1/2 hours, but did pretty good!
That ETrac is just the smoothest most stable detector I have ever operated...
Much to learn! + Fun to learn !!!
4 $1 coins, 2 $2 coins, 1 penny,1 cent.

I was at the beach primarily to place Mums ashes into the beach her and her father used to beach comb way back in the 1920's.

This morning I also found a 1921 sixpence; ~ Mums birth year!!!

Great to see you on the world's best treasure forum, SNOWY!

I was "Myron" (from the name of a Great Lakes shipwreck) on the official Tesoro site back a couple. Maybe you recall we chatted a few times?

I always liked that avatar you used back then. But this ones good too

Keep with us mate! You'll get replies here.

Looks like a good start with your etrac, my brother here on the forum, john37115 has the etrac also, He can have swing through a heavy iron site and find conductive targets that most detectors would miss. He's still learning the machine but loves it. Thanks for sharing your finds. Finding your Mums birth year coin on that day will be something you'll never forget. I love it when things like that happen. Happy Hunting. My Dad got my brother and I into detecting back in the 70's, with him gone it seems our love for the hobby has grown even more.

Hi Kirk TN, thanks for the response!
I have had all of the Explorers, and really liked them all... I am really enjoying learning to use my ETrac ~ early days ! :P
I just had to get myself an ETrac when they appeared, and will be keen to probably get an ETrac II if one comes along!

They're "sniffing" out a lot of those keepers hidden amongst the iron eh!

Glad to see your brother is enjoying his ETrac !
Mom will always be at that beach my friend !!!
Hey Kirk, it's great that you detect with your dad, ~ my sons never really got into it... :(
