Someone ruined a perfectly good token. I know this one will probably never get an ID, but thought I'd take a chance.
Found in N Alabama this past week.
Anyone?
Oh, ye of little faith! If it were not for a meeting in a short bit, I'd be able to figure this one out. Ingle tokens (1909 & 1914) have been extensively studied, so this one should be relatively easy. Perhaps somebody else will get the answer first, but I'll try to have the answer later today.

Ingle company order #4165 sent tokens to C. J. Moore for use in his store in Nectar, AL (his mail actually went to Bangor, AL RR 2 ). How about posting pics of this one on tokencatalog.com for the good of the token-collecting community? Or, I could do it for you with your permission.

You're the best, John! Thanks a bunch! You are more than welcome to post this on the token catalog forum. I have quite a few tokens that could be posted there if you like.
