Shouldered points?

I've got a question. Locally, many collectors I know call Adenas, Dicksons, Beavertails, etc, "shouldered points". Has anyone else heard them grouped together with that terminology before?

Here's my lifetime collection of shouldered points...

Very nice collection. Missouri produces great looking points. Here all I can seem to find is boring old quartz and an occasional flint.

Great group of shouldered ponts!Yes i have heard them grouped that way because they typically only have shoulders not barbs,and have no notches just a stem for a base.Thx for the look :headbang:
