After striking silver yesterday (Walking Liberty) I decided to go out again and try my luck. I'm glad I did because my AT Gold sniffed it out with just 10 min into the hunt. I dug up a vintage silver bracelet. I can't make out the silver mark in the inside and I'm hoping someone on here can help ID. Well, I decided to head back to the car after half hr hoping the wife would not call and ask what was taking so long... Oops! Forgot I'm supposed to be at Walmart picking up something to grill, lol. As I make myself to the car I get a high tone which it's either aluminum, rusty can or silver. I kick the dirt and out pops out a sterling silver US paratrooper jump wing pin. Holy cow that's 3 days in a row that I fish silver from this sweet honey hole. To bad it's almost gone due to construction and a new subdivision. Within a few feet from my car I recover what looks like a wheat penny, Indian head and a 1 centavo. Not bad for half hr. Enjoy the picks and if anyone recognizes the mark inside the bracelet please let me know. It looks and cleans like silver just hoping it's not plated.

Can you see any possible hallmarks? Appears to be a name there at least and i dont think anyone would of went through the trouble of doing that on plated goods just my opinion but i suppose it is possible

It appears it may be a maciel, and the last four letters certainly look like ciel, the M is well worn. This would make it a vintage mexican/latin bracelet with the same art style such as this one.

Looks like you got yourself a good one congrats!

You better have a talk with the bride about how that spot is getting ready to be covered up. Half hour needs to be turned into hours of hunting, sounds like a great spot, congrats!

Your welcome, I no doubt believe you found this in an old immigration route with everything you have found out there. Makes you wonder what happened for them to leave behind some of this stuff. I wish i was closer to some those routes and areas, i sure would be out there too. Maciel of mexico city from what i found does have a distinguishable hallmark from 1948-1970, but i cant find anything prior to that. Looks like you possibly have one of their earliest pieces, from the 30's. Looking on ebay some this maciel ware sells for some good bucks too. What do you plan to do with it?

Hey Kyleekastels, I'm thinking of keeping it unless I get a decent offer. I'll probably take it to a jeweler and have it straiten out
