I went out today with "Garabaldi" to a site we just found on Friday. On Friday he got four little indians, and I got one. Today we went back and brought a friend, who found one indian, so that's six allready in two days hunting! I found the first quarters, and the first silver! two clad quarters which by themselves aren't worth noting except I was the only one who could find one! and then a 1958, then a 1942!. I also found a 1992 Great Britain Ten Pence right on the surface of the ground, my detector went over it and ignored it (as I was in high trash mode), but it caught my eye. 14 Lincoln cents, a couple being wheaties, gotta clean them up to see the dates. and finally, a nice little award pin of some sort that I think may be silver, gotta test it. It says skillful driver 11 years. anybody ever see that before? All in all, a good day. Then Garabaldi pulls a buffalo nickel as we're leaving! :) :hello2:

Hey Yellow1053, Your "Skillful Driver" pin belonged to a UPS Driver at one time. Those are yearly pins given to drivers who have never been in an accident. I know for a fact, as I am a UPS driver who just received my 22 year "Skillful Driver" pin a few months ago. Ron in IL.

I forgot to mention, that those pins are not silver, but at the 20 year mark, they start to put a small diamond in them. Ron

Looks like the building that driver works out of is better than ours. Each building has its own budget, & not a one of my pins are sterling. Guess I should'nt have assumed that all of them were not sterling. Nice find. Ron
