Got two boxes (only searched one so far) of halves today.....9X40%, 6X90%, and one gold novelty Kennedy. Out of the 2 90%...1 was a Bengi and 1 was a Walker...Also got a new best friend to put my hoard into so I can rest easy at night now!

Nice finds, any walker is a good find, but yours is a harder one to find. Nice safe too. I was trying decide about getting a depost box or safe or what. Some where I read that the deposit boxes, might tone the coins, also, that they are not insured. Ill need to look into that. what made you decide to go the home safe route?

I got to adding up the value of all the stuff I have that would be easy to steal and the safe made sense...Lowe's had it for no interest/payments for a year so I'm paying it off over a year. At the end of a year I will have a safe...not so with the deposit box. I also needed a lot of space for bigger items.

Second box 5 X 40%, 3 X 90% ( 1 Franklin), and a 1999 100 Colones from Costa Rica. The 200 Colones is gold....Missed it by that much! If the repo man comes for my safe he better bring some help! My brother and I had to use some of the techniques the Egyptians used to build the pyramids to get the thing into my office...It's a wee bit heavy...
