Interesting finds today without the use of my detector.
I was 'absconding' with some change from my wife's purse and grabbed some quarters. One looked a little frosty compared to the others and lo and behold it was a 1964 -D quarter. I haven't done that well in 10 months of detecting. Only silver I've found detecting are 2 roosevelt dimes.

Went to local grocery store on my way home from work because they charged us twice for something. On my way in and took a peek in the coinstar machine. Found a modern nickel.
Went to customer service and received a refund for the item we were double-charged for and I was given a 1920 -S wheat cent in my change.

What a day without my detector.... ;D

Finding a silver quarter in circulation is an extremely rare find these days! I'm jealous!
