The city is tearing down a bunch of houses along one of the major roads in the heart of the city. After a little investigating....no "No Trespassing" signs posted and no nosy city workers...I got my metal detector to see what I could find. After about 4.5 hours of detecting and a bunch of clad coins later, I did score some silver: .925 ring(weight 2 grams) and a 1961 Rosie. Not a big score, but I'll take it. Them silver dimes are hard to find!
Interesting note: no other detectorists seen around. Guess I'm the only one motivated to add to my collection. And it is a lot of fun! 7up. IMG_3297.JPG
