Went back to my favorite hunting spot. Weather was perfect for hunting. I am learning to swing my detector and use the pin pointer while sitting beside the hole. There are still plenty of targets in concentrated areas.

Things are slowing down, but still way better than some of my previous hunting spots. Did manage two more Kennedy Half Dollars. Also got two Buffalo Nickels (one with a readable date of 1936) and a wheat penny. Plan on going back till it stops giving me good targets (even if it kills me). Here are my today's finds.

Till next time, Happy Hunting !!!

Congrats on some more nice finds, no telling what might show up after you get some more of those signals out of the way. Good luck

I am trying to determine how big your area is......you are digging targets your detector finds. And once you start digging you are finding multiple targets in the hole with your pin pointer. Once you get rid of the big targets you should find some gold. Those people were rich!!

The area is the size of an average city lot (minus house). I got all the surface finds weeks ago. I located an area about 10' X 10' now and dig a hole. I put the dirt to the side and scan it with the detector to recover targets, then scan the hole with my pin pointer to find anything else. Usually I search two holes each hunt. I have done quite well so far.:icon_thumleft:
