Found it in some old silver coins my wife's father had hidden away.
It is in amazingly good shape.

1928 Peace Dollar Value | CoinTrackers

Seems like the Philly '28 is more valuable then the average Peace dollar.

Better check yours closely, the "8" looks like an altered "3".

EDIT: The more I look at your coin, the more certain I am that it is a 1923. I want to make a joke about you not knowing your numbers, but I won't do you like that.

Google images them both (1928 & 1923), and tell me that I am wrong.

These sell for $20-$22 in my area. Now if you had the high relief,.. good grief!

Though I saw this was a rare one? 1928, no mint mark.

take another pic with lighting from another angle. It looks like a 3 but it also looks like it could have a cross over of the 8. Different and closer pic will determine

Definitely a 1923, the 3 looks a lot like an 8 on these.

I hate when you guys are always right. I would have bet money on it being an 8, pictures don't lie.
