Started out this morning at 7:00 am the weather was nice and cool, went back to my nickel field just to see if I could pull a few more out also I got this hit witch sounded like mineralized rock we run into this a lot in the park but it only hits from one side I did just a half turn as I was swinging also it was repeated I dug a good size plug using my probe I got a high pitched signal at the very bottom of the hole using my hand digger plunged down another 4 inches and a I seen a quick flash 1946-d Washington quarter, I'm surprised it wasn't a barber most of the silver I found in this area were barbers also got an1899 IH and two buffs and a wheat.... Great find of a quarter at 10 inches, it certainly was deep for a Washington.

Very nice variety! Sounds like a sweet park.

THE PIRATE STRIKES AGAIN !!! NICE COINS ....

WTG PP those are some nice keepers there. I didn't fair as well today.

Its been a long time since I've hit a park and seen oldies like that come out ! I love seeing dirty oldies :laughing7::laughing7: Nice digs:occasion14:!

Nice group of finds. I was hoping to find one of those IHP greenies today.

Great finds pirate !!!! Nice to find a Buff with a readable date, the Indian head looks great and love that big silver. Congrats ! Enjoy ! HH

Good job digging the iffy signal!, paid off well!
Nice work on the ih and buff too!

10 Inches! Have to be persistent sometimes. Sounds like the soil has been moved around there. I've found more than my share of coins at 10", but I don't think one of them was ever a Washington quarter. Nice going.

love those silver quarter...theyre few and far between these days! good job!

Congrats PP. Well done. Nice variety of coins.

Way to go Tony- weather's changing fast, hopefully we're finding some great stuff together fairly soon...
