At this point I have no idea what drives the price of silver anymore. But I think the Cyprus incident is a pretty good possibility. I can't see Cyprus being able to open their banks without a bank run happening. What happens after the bank run is what really matters most. Will they get bailed out, default, or something else?

Any problems with the Euro will make the dollar stronger. They could just kick Cyprus out of the Euro altogether. If they kick them out perhaps that could be seen as a bullish event for the Euro and cause the dollar to weaken. No way to say for sure.
