I found this for $5 at a garage sale on Saturday. It weighs 6.5 ounces. I identified a few of the marks but I really need help on the bottom marks. I can't find any other examples where there is a 2nd set of marks. The glass is probably from the 1920's.

84 with a head and figural mark: Made in Moscow in between 1908 and 1926

11 MA: 11th artel.
One of the most famous ones, enamel, cloisonné and guilloche, high quality silver objects, in class with court suppliers’ work. Fabergés’s supplier.
Traditional style, complete enamel covering, art nouveau influence with triangular and rectangular enamel cells, volutes.
Spirals, silver beads, green ochre, violet- and-cream tints in a hazy "water-colour" style

The second set of marks are Finnish import marks.

A very nice piece indeed. I see a lot of spoons made like this but not this shape. Congratulations on a great find

Looks like a keeper to me. I'm curious as to the insert glass. Do you think it's original to the piece? I see it's etched with initials of some sort? It's a beautiful piece for sure.

I don't think it is because its quite loose. I think its etched with a HEM monogram. It is possible though because a lot of antiques at the sale were well maintained and all of the original tables, chairs, etc matched. The more I research it the more interesting it gets. How it was exported to Finland is a mystery. During that time frame the Soviets and the Finnish hated each other and there was several Soviet blockades around Finland. The date stamp is from 1908-1926 and the Finnish mark dates it to 1928.

I also bought a killer Victorian foot stool with a silver emblem on it. I will post that later tonight.

I can't find any "quality" antiques at an estate sale even (unless I want to pay retail that is), here you are finding Russian enamel at a garage sale, lol. Way to go! :icon_thumleft:
