I was out on Sunday, and ran across this item. The back looks exactly like the tongue from a soda can.

When I flipped it over, I noticed "wire" on it. A closer inspection revealed little flowers and decorative wire wrapping on what appears to be a torn up piece of jewelry. Lincoln for scale.

Hopefully, one of you can ID what this might have been. I do not recall seeing anything quite like this before.

Thanks for looking, and best of luck on your hunts!

Tom, Maybe the face of a small, oval, silver locket? Very intricate and beautiful, congrats. Sub 8-)

Most common folk have never seen such a fancy beverage can! :laughing7:

Part of a shredded hand mirror? I don't know what it was but I like the detail.
