Went back to the lake park today. After going around the basketball court a while it was too hot so I headed for a shady area. Didn't find much there either. So went over to the lakes area to detect. Went around the fishing stations and started getting some lead sinkers and sliders. On going around one of the fishing stations I had a quarter reading and dug, not expecting to find a sterling silver ring in all its shiny glory :headbang:

It really is not a ring, it's part of a fishing lure but they are not very common. NOT!! Good on ya for sticking with the detecting regardless of the heat and likely humidity and it paid off nicely!! You also have a nice collection of sinkers, some soda money and the handle off of a fishing reel, nice variety.......................keep swinging................63bkpkr

I love to see silver in the presence of the other metals near it - kinda helps you understand the term "noble metal"
