Is it possible that this could be silver even though it does not have a makers mark?

I was using a at max and it rung up 35-40. I haven't done a drop test yet.

The sound it makes with a drop test is a sharp high tone sound.

Agreed, if that ring is silver, it should read much higher.

Silver has a ring to it like if you ding a quarter against a silver quarter it has a ring to it

I found a big honking silver dome style ring and it rang 91 on the Pro.
I would be very happy with that be it silver or nickel.

It looks too gray from the photos to be silver, to me. Silver is more white. Will a magnet stick to it? If it does, it's definitely not silver and is probably steel (or could be nickel).

I say Nickel or SS...rare to see SS monogrammed. The way it is honed out out is normal for SS..I would take it to the jeweler for testing.

Spit on a piece of aluminum foil and rub on the inside of the ring. If it smells like rotten eggs it’s silver, if no smell it’s something else.
