I nailed the ring unfortunately. It has BA engraved on the back. I was having a bugger of a time trying to find target under the tree stump. The shield thing is a thin piece of silver mounted on a brass back. It is not plated. But a thin sheet of silver. My loan indian cent is another 1876 semi key.2 in the past month. Now if I could just get a 1877. The buffalo nickel is1921 and my only wheat cent was 1913. I think the wings are neat. Very 1st thing I dug was the Christmas wreath pin. 1st time out since Saturday. I got this spot hammered pretty good but still get a few things.

You found some goodies - what do the wings appear to be made of ? I like the monogrammed silver piece - you have some other
interesting pieces there too.

Some nice finds! Too bad about the ring.

You may have hammered the spot but you still seem to be finding some big things! Just keep trouncing the area until nothing conductive is left. I did that with a wheat-filled area, then put my detector on boost and it's highest sensitivity and banged out some more good stuff.

It's always great to see an Indian. Cheers.

cool finds. you got some neat jewelry items
