Hi Everyone,

This is part of my find today (along with the 14k gold bracelet.)

I am trying to figure out this ring. I think it is silver but the mark is seriously worn on the inside. The metal is not magnetic.

The mark looks like a slender oval with three or four dots inside.

I can't get that detailed of a picture with my cell phone but here is what it looks like.

Any suggestions on how I could identify it or possible get a date range for it's age?

Thanks,

Patrick

You need a test kit with a rubbing stone and some acid solutions and a good loupe

BTW lots of Mexican silver and silver from Asia exceeds sterling and .925 in quality and is not marked in any manner
