Silver ring ?

I found a small ring the other day at a park, the only thing I can find, is the word INDIA. Could it be silver?

I have found the small rings marked "India," but nothing else. Puzzled me too... I suppose you would have to test the metal. Keep diggin'! Sub

I doubt it is silver, but post a pic.

India is notorious for making silver trinkets and never labeling them properly. You'll have to do an acid test.

I haven't tryed to post photos here I'll have to see how to do it.
It's the size of a dime.

I Dig, here is my ring marked "India" only, that I found in March. It hits a solid 76 on my ATPro, well above brass and aluminum, and in the range of a light weight silver ring. So, like yours, my ring may be silver and I need to have it tested. Good Luck, Sub
