Hello Everyone,

I stopped by the grocery store on the way home from work and checked the Coin Star on the way in and the tray was clean! So I walked around for a while picking up a long list of items my wife wrote for me to buy. After finishing and purchasing the goodies, I walked by the Coin Star again; this time there was a few coins in the tray three looking silver in the poor light. The four coins were as follows:

2006 - 1 cent Euro copper
2000 - 25 cent Bahamas coin (not silver)
1951 D and 1964 Rosie dimes (Silver)

This is my first Euro and Bahamas coins

Thanks for looking.

Hello Silvermonkey,

I'm new to the Coinstar phenomena, but a fast learner...:icon_thumleft:

OH YEA! Do you look into the tray and through the holes? Tougher to retrieve but I found a silver box necklace and a couple of junk earrings. One day there will be GOLD!
Thanks for sharing and way to go on the double check.

Glad to oblige. A new unsharpened #2 pencil and a little two way tape on the erasure is the tool I use to retrieve through the holes. I've only used it three times but the first was the chain. I knew it was silver before I retrieved it. The two earrings were separate times and both just cheapo costume jewelry, but the reason I started looking was another poster on this site had managed a 14k earring through the holes.
