Your band seems to be one from a homing pigeon. The letters will identify the club or person who owned the bird. The numbers are just the number for that particular bird. Google : Homing pigeon clubs. They have charts, and info on there that will identify the bird. I have found 4 pigeon bands over the years, and have been able to identify each one so I could email or call the owner to let them know I found it, and their bird was obviously dead. Yours is an older band, because now they use plastic over the metal.
