Nickel Box #66: 1943 P

The bank forgot to order this week my typical 4 boxes of halves and 4 boxes of nickels. I took what I could. Got 2 boxes of nickels and the teller said the other branch has a few hundred in halves I could try and get later in the week. I guess it works out as I am moving from my apartment to my house this weekend anyways.

Found a lamination error last week that I forgot to post.

The war nickel also happens to be a lamination error! I have been finding more interesting finds lately 8-)

$40 MWR Halves: skunk

I went to the flea market this weekend ans it surprises me how much people were over charging for junk silver, morgans, peaces and all other general coins. I understand they probably have more in their coins but there was no way I was going to pay an arm and a leg for it. I did pick up a 2015 silver buffalo bullion coin. I know its the official coinage but it looks so sharp and I just love buffalo nickels!

Wednesday I finish my internship to complete my Masters degree. I also pick up my final order of 4 boxes of cents, 4 boxes of nickels and 4 boxes of halves. I move over an hour away from that bank and will have to find a new pick up bank :BangHead:

Nice way to end my box orders, 16 40%ers!!

I'll hit up a local bank next week and see if they'll order me boxes.

Still have 4 penny and 4 nickel boxes to go through.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes as well!! Its been a busy week finishing my internship and unpacking after moving into my house.

Nickel Box 73:1943 S & 1944 P

This box was super fun opening.

I found the two silvers but also found a magician Nickel!! I normally just date check all the nickels and run though them quickly. I spotted the magician nickel because it appeared a little off. I flipped it over to see the date and didnt find one! I flipped it two more times thinking I had dropped the coin and missed it. Turns out its a double tails. I can scratch that off my bucket list of coins to find. Now I'm down to a henning nickel and a hobo nickel.

Also found an off center die, best/worse one yet. Its so far off it was cutting off half the "LIBERTY" I Set them aside because I think theyre cool I know theyre not worth much.

Anyways three more to go this week.
