Hard to believe they're giving you such a hard time. I've been doing 2k in halves about twice a month. I order from a different branch and dump at a different bank each time, so nobody sees me but every three or four months, so so far so good for now.
As far as detecting goes, I've been doing abandoned houses and vacant lots in the general vicinity of where you and I hunted that day. I'm up to sixteen silvers and have had two three-silver days.
My friend and I went back to that lot you and I did. All we managed was a few more wheat cents and some clad. Give me a call when you get back to Vegas and we'll go find some silver.
