I still cannot get over the find of 28 solid rolls of walkers that one member had from an old lady's bank drop. So I am driving around and thinking how incredible that the last silver half was minted in 1970 and at the dawn of 2012 we are still finding silver coins, not just 40 but 90s, not just Kennedys but Franklins and Walkers. Simply amazing 42 years and counting. I wonder if the bank and professional coin businesses will ever wise-up. I hope not- for out sake.

enjoy the hunt!

Not cost effective for Banks to cull that.

The only thing is tellers CR Hunters.

That post was dug up from august, but still a great find, I hope to someday find something like that, but until then I'm happy with one every few boxes.

Also there are a few silver halfs from 1992 onward, but very very rare to find.

Millions and millions of them were minted. Many were saved in
rememberence of JFK. Many people who collected them are now old
and passing away. Most people who get them handed down don't
realize their silver value and just take them to the bank. Thus they
end up in rolls that we all search. Simple as that. AND...it will
continue. Trust me.
