I've about cleaned out my latest site of non iron targets, but not without coming home with some great finds. This is the same site in which I located my first gold coin and key date Indian almost two weeks ago. For those of you that didn't catch the first post, the gold coin is a 1910-s 5$ gold piece, and the Indian is 1909-s. After a week of hitting that site with all I've got, I've also managed 5 Barber dimes. One of them was a semi-key date (1896-o). I also found two identical tokens from Jerome Arizona, and a 1909 V-nickel. That's a total of 8 coins and 2 tokens.

I also dug loads of relics, all dating from 1889 to 1910. This includes 4 pocket watches, and parts from many, many more. The pocket watches all had the glass broken out and were in bad shape. :(

The site was an aqueduct construction camp that was in use from 1908 to 1913.

All the silver was cleaned, as it comes out of the ground in rough condition. It's funny that copper and even the V nickels come out OK over here though. Here's the 1905-s before I cleaned it.
