I like finding wheat penni expecially the early date..90 percent of the places I have found wheat pennies I have found silver.

I found the wheat cent an inch in the ground at the park near the picnic areas and the other I found was at a park about a mile away and also about 1-2 inches deep. The only other thing I found in these places were shallow clad. You think I should go back?

I was detecting around where people would sit and have change fall out of their pockets so I imagine these coins were just something lost recently. Maybe not?

I just assumed the wheats fell out of someones pocket recently as they were shallow. These parks were built in the 80s
