Found on the side of a hill in some soil/clay in SE Minnesota. They are magnetic, smooth on parts, looks igneous, and has a redish/brownish tint to them. Anyone know what they are?

Try a streak test. Likely you have found nodules of hematite with magnetite. In some area's they can be quite populous.
