Slim pickin's today...

Got down to the beach this morning...
Bleak indeed !!! 4x5cents, 1x20cent, 1x50 cent, 1x$2...
A small copper nail head, and a cheap dress ring...
NO SCREW CAPS !!!
Quite a few tabs, ( I was using the Minelab ETrac beach screen.)
And modified Tony Hunt settings.

Hey you wanna trade your good weather for my -20 degree weather here in Ohio?

I'd love to be hunting along side of you. Great that you got out and enjoyed the sea air.

Re: Slim pickin's today...

Thanks guys, yep a gold ring could be a swing away.
And I'm lucky that I have such mild weather too ( Summer here. )
I'm not complaining ya know folks!
I mean I only hunted for under 2 hours, so I did pretty good !
The targets were widely spaced, I figure I wasn't the first to detect that beach over the previous few hours.
I dug a few tabs, and the 5 cent coins I got were close to your nickels, I also dug some large foil pill cards so
if someone had hunted the beach they discriminated more than me...
Another thing; I detected no aluminum screw caps either.

Hey Ringfinder, no __ I guess I wouldn't trade my weather for yours mate, maybe in 4 to 5 months ! ;D
