Small points from this summer

Here are a few of the smaller points that I found this summer. The one on the far left is a little strange. It looks like it had a couple of different purposes. The second from left is a small side notch that has one broken shoulder. The next to last point on the right has one notch made into it. I rarely find any points made this way (in my area anyway). Wonder why they would just put one notch in it? Maybe Dorkfish could provide some clues into this with his experience with Ft. Ancient points. The last one on the right is a very small "bird point" if you will. It's amazing how they could create such small points with nice flaking. I've heard that these small points could do more damage than one would think.

Thanks for looking!

Brian

PS: Yes, I'm very bored this afternoon! ;D Off work due to illness.

Do you think the one notch point could be a shot from the plow? Looks like the patina is different in that notch to me. HB
