Had a Dr Appt out of town so I decided to add on another hundred mile roundabout return and turn an otherwise boring drive into a little silver-seeking road trip. Stopped at a couple of dozen banks along my chosen route. Scraped up $30 in skunky half rolls and $44.50 in loose halves. Scored a 1965 and a pair of 1967's from one tellers tray, and another 1967 from another tellers tray. So ended up with 4 40%'ers. Not a huge score but with the way halves have been around here lately I'm glad to be able to add some more wild silver to the pile.

Also scraped up rolls of dimes and nickels to search through later. Kept getting handed new rolls of 2011's so I had to keep on getting rid of those rolls along my route, trading them in for other rolls. Besides quarters, it's getting pretty hard to find rolls that are not full of solid 2011's around here.

The dimes and nickels were nonproductive. The nickels turned out to be solid rolls of same date in each of 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006. I had no use for any of them so dumped them.

I traded that recently aquired 1965 Ken for a 1967 Ken with the other CRH'er in my area. He needed it for the collection he's putting together for his grandson.

Dig into those cents Legend, they're hard to get skunked on with :laughing7:

I went through a bag of pennies today and it was a good one.
