It was a good night. In a hard hunted school yard. School was built in 1957 but I got a bouncy 12-13 that wouldn’t stay there it was all the down to 11-17. I dug it thinking it was prolly a tab but about 4” down was a pretty nice 1937 Buffalo. Walked the yard until I couldn’t deal with the skeeters anymore and started back to the truck swinging my machine as if I were swatting skeeters and I hit on a 12-46....out came a ‘63 Rosie. Where I come from we call that a good night.

Truth, this is the nicest buffalo I’ve found. I thought it was clad when I first saw it! They are normally a rusty red color in our clay but this came out of some sandy soil at an old ball field.
