I think I might REALLY be done now for a while, or at least til the weather breaks again.
I went out today at around 1pm, and as soon as I started swinging, it started snowing!
By 5pm there was 2 inches on the ground.
It's supposed to snow all night now, and not get above freezing for at least a week. :'(
Here's my results after 4 hours out in the snow.
2 Injuns, a 1900, and a 1904.
1 Buffalo Nickel, a 1918 I think.
And a 1909 wheat. (My second 1909 in 2 weeks).
(I soaked the coins in EXTREMELY hot olive oil for a while, and scraped the dirt off with my fingernail, then cleaned out between the letters with a toothpick).
Other than that I just dug TONS of bullets.
I guess it's time to give the detector a good cleaning!
Thanks for lookin'.

You made some great finds, TBK, in bad weather.

Just think what you'll be finding when the weather is good?

Hang in there!!

That's a great way to finish up if you can't make it back out for awhile!
