so cal point i found

here's a point i found in the city of devore in so california it's 2in long by 1 1/4th wide by 1/4th think it is solid white but has a few dark age spots on it it has a slight gloss to it and kinda smooth. the 2 side notches and the bottom notch would be for ??????? i am just gettin into mding and treasures it has to offer. any info thought s or w/e you might think is welcomed.

Welcome jimcollins, to Treasure-Net,
that is a nice arrowhead, we don't see many artifacts
coming from CA.

That point is classified as a Bifurcate. The twin "tails" give it away. I have one like it that came from Central KY that is called a Macorkle. Not sure what they are called out there.

glad to be a member and thxs for the info ill do some reserch on bifurcate and see if i can find out what there called in cal. thxs again
