Was out this morning before the afternoon heat. There was a big fireworks display at a local park 6/7 and I thought I would be able to find some last night drops. Well, I was wrong. In an hour and a half I found nothing on the surface. I was able to find 99 coins. Mostly pennies from a 7x7 area where there must have been a penny scatter with lazy kids. There was over 50 pennies right there. All were about 1 1/2 inches down. So I figure they were there for about 2 years. I was so close to another 100 coin hunt. Dang! I thought I was at around 80 coins and was dying in the heat. So I called it quits. I would have stayed and pulled a couple more just to break the 100 coin mark.

Nice diggin. You probably left at least one coin in the pouch to make up the 100.
