Well took it out for about an hour and a half heard a lot of tones but all of them in the 78 and above range showed 8" deep or deeper and I do mean all of them I had it set for pro, zero, iron at 30, sen down 2 to 3 notches from full and brought ground balance back 5 from what it auto hit at. Found .27 cents clad I didn't dig anything that showed 8" don't recall what the quarter came up at. But do like the size and weight of the 5x8 coil
