Well, THREE turtle heads, actually. I returned to the middle school playing field that gave up the golden locket and sterling Celtic cross on Sunday. I detected areas that I did not hit before and was rewarded with a very pretty .925 marked sterling turtle ring. The ring was hitting the VDI at 82 at 3-4" on the ATPRo. A while later, I got a nice Lincoln cent VDI signal 77-78 at the same depth and pulled out this pretty cross with the dove on it. It is also marked ".925 $ Copyright." It had a broken chain attached to it but I believe the chain is only sterling plated. Also scored about $8.00 in clad for charity.

Thanks for looking, continued Happy Hunting the rest of the year and Merry Christmas! Sub 8-)

I thought you were trying to raid a Snapping Turtle's nest.
Nice finds. The turtle ring is cool, but I really like the cross

Got a question my fellow hunters... I've been following treasure.net on tapatalk for awhile now, but I cannot figure out how to make my own post. All I'm able to do is reply to other's post.

Can anyone help me on what I'm missing...????

Touch the ... three dots in the upper right hand corner and select "new topic".
You have to be out of someone else's topic in the forum to start your own topic.

It only gives me the "reply, share, web view, and refresh" options....

Am I suppose to have something setup on the web?

Hit the left arrow up on the top left one time right now and try it again.

I actually live in the "boonies" and travel 30 miles one way to the nearby biggest city with many schools and parks. Lots of MD competitors there, but there is obviously enough to go around! Thanks for the kind words Loco! Lets go get some more before the snows shut us all down....Sub 8-)

Pull tabs are finds of the days in parks here Sub. Nice finds from you again. You've saved a lot of jewelry this year. Merry Christmas!

Thanks Old Dude. I choose not to show my bloodied finger bandages and piles upon piles of trash that I pull out of the ground just to get a few goodies. Maybe for next Christmas, I can "daisy chain" all of my pull tabs together for the Christmas tree? Happy Hunting, enjoy that great weather while you can. Sub 8-)
