Nice bunch of gold there. You might get posts from dudes thinking you somehow faked the pictures and nobody could find that much. I know better. Be very careful who you tell.

Wow Jerome, that is amazing. Congratulations of finding so much gold this year.

Assuming an average Karat weight of 14K on all of your gold (I'm sure some is 18K or higher, and some is 10K, but lets assume it all averages out to 14K), your gold finds for 2009 are worth a staggering $20,000 at today's spot price of gold.

I hope you take advantage of the high price of gold and cash all of this in. $20,000 buys a lot of donuts!

I hope to find just 10% of your 2009 haul in 2010.

Jim

210 are in 18k
15 are in 14k
2 are in 10K
1 is in 9K
1 is in 22k

And the weight total of gold is 1067 grams.
In 18k, it's doing 1006 grams !!!!

Congratulations! This is fantastic. I have to show the foto of your finds to my wife so she lets me go out more often. May I ask what detector you are using, for how many years you have been detecting and how many hours per detecting day you spend on the average? Do you have a foto of the silver jewelry you found this year you could post? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see your silver finds. Thank you for posting this, makes me want to go to the beach next weekend no matter how cold it is.

My metal detector is an Excalibur II.But I have yet my old excalibur I have bought in 1995.
I detect in the water since 1995. In general, I do 5 or 6 hours of detection.
But for us, in France it 's the winter and the water start to be cold: around 14 degrees C.

Hello everybody !!!!!!!!

This year has been very good for me .I have found 229 gold jewels for a weight of 1006 grams.
It's not my best year, but it's one of the best!!!
In january and february, we have had many storms and the wind was very hard. Many targets have moved and they are not very deep for to found them.

That is a lot of gold you must have found 3 or 4 times that in silver? Any pictures of the silver?

Good job for sure.

It was a very good year.

That is very impressive, and you only went out 60 times. That is super my friend. I'd like to see what else you found. Any Platinum there? Here's to an even better 2010.
