I was metal detecting where I found the coin photographed below, and found another trash pile, the first one was pretty empty, but this one was full of broken glass, bottles, jar lids, and intact shoes. I ended up staying there for 30 minutes, and all of these, Including an Intact Turn-of-The-Century Moxie Bottle. I'm guess the Moxie bottle is around 1900, maybe up to 1920 though. Please correct me if I'm wrong on the date previously mentionedFor all of you who do not know what Moxie is, it's a popular soda here on the east coast, I have never tasted it, but see it all the time at the grocery store. I also found a bunch of broken baby food bottles dating before from 1893-1906.

Anyways, Thanks for Looking, Coinman123

that's a beautiful bottle! You're not missing anything by never tasting it. It's certainly a unique flavor.

Some nice looking bottles there. Moxie is very popular here in Maine. Not sure why....It's not what I'd call delicious lol

Moxie is carbonated, but it's not soda! More like a medicinal type drink. Very high in caffeine and it makes you burp a lot. Definitely an acquired taste!
