Hello Everyone,
Al here. I headed back to the field this morning and I did a bit better today. (2-3-12) I spent a good 3 hours at this site. I concentrated on one little section at a time until I had to go. It was slow going for the first hour... I almost gave up. Then I got my first good signal. That was the small button, still with the shank too! Next was the larger button. No shank that time. Oh well. After another hour or so, I nailed the larger musket ball. The smaller one was not long after. For the rest of my time that I had, I stuck to two little corners of the field. While in the first corner, I got that all too familiar sound coming from my AT Pro, it was the 1807 Draped Bust Large Cent! (A first for me!) The last thing that I found was close to the exit and it's another first for me! The Colonial Buckle! Today was a good day!
