Hello all, thanks for looking. Found these in east Central Florida, and after 2 years digging they are a first for me. The bullet is 11mm dia., 17mm high and 38mm circ. the weight is .5oz. but I'm not certain of age or anything else about it. The button is a Scovill MFG. and it looks about right for civil war era but if anyone can lock that down for me that would be great. The button came up as a 78 signal on the AT Pro. Got to dig all the penny signals. Not sure if the button should be cleaned with anything but soap and water, but it's pretty well off as is and with a drop of olive oil looks pretty good. Happy hunting :)

Nice button, lots of gilt. Around 1875-1902.
