Really hot today, but found a lot of nails like I usually do. Almost enough square nails in storage to build myself a house! Found a neat horse buckle as well. Potsherd was also cool. Starting to go insane with the lack of non-ferrous metal. All iron..so many nails.. Probably just a matter of time until you pull something out that isn’t iron and, your are right it’s hot here in Georgia. Sort of early to reach 100+ this upcoming weekend.

Always worth kicking around, and as you guys said persistence is key. Though the heat might be the one doing the kicking!

You're on a homesite, so for sanity's sake, crank up your discrimination for a while, and dig some brass, copper, and silver. Stop digging the iron.
